Return and Refund Policy

At Alkhemy Health Store, we’re passionate about bringing you quality health and wellness products. We want you to be happy with your purchase! This Return and Refund Policy outlines your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) and our process for returns and refunds.

Your Rights Under Australian Consumer Law

Under the ACL, all products from us come with consumer guarantees. This means they must:

  • Be of acceptable quality (safe, free from defects, and long-lasting).
  • Be fit for their intended purpose (e.g., as listed on our site).
  • Match the description or images we provide.

If something’s not right, you’re entitled to a remedy:

  • Minor Problem: We’ll offer a free repair, or at our discretion, a replacement or refund (e.g., a damaged jar or mislabeled item).
  • Major Problem: You can choose a replacement or refund. A major problem is a significant issue (e.g., a supplement that’s unsafe or completely different from what we advertised).

These rights apply no matter what, and our store policy can’t override them.

How to Request a Return or Refund

If there’s an issue with your purchase, here’s what to do:

  1. Contact Us: Reach out within a reasonable time of noticing the problem. Email us at sales@alkhemyhealthstore.com.au or call 08 9583 5506. Let us know what’s wrong and whether you’d like a repair, replacement, or refund.
  2. Proof of Purchase: Please provide proof of purchase (e.g., your order confirmation email, receipt, or bank statement).
  3. Return the Product: Send it back to Shop 13 Halls Head Central, 14 Guava Way, Halls Head, WA 6210, Australia. You’ll cover the return shipping cost upfront, but we’ll reimburse reasonable costs if the issue is covered by a consumer guarantee.

We’ll inspect the item once it arrives. If it qualifies under the ACL, we’ll sort out your remedy quickly. If there’s no issue under the ACL (e.g., you misused it), you may need to cover return shipping.

Change of Mind Returns

The ACL doesn’t require us to offer refunds if you change your mind (e.g., decide you don’t want a skincare product or found it cheaper elsewhere). But as a goodwill gesture, we’re happy to offer a refund or exchange if:

  • You contact us within 14 days of delivery.
  • The product is unopened, unused, and in its original packaging (for hygiene and safety, especially with supplements and skincare).
  • You provide proof of purchase.

You’ll need to cover return shipping costs for change-of-mind returns.
